My heart sank at the format, leave vs remain.

I think consensus is a bit much to ask. We've got a power vacuum in government, Labour in meltdown and racist incidents all over the place. Not conditions conducive to consensus.

Thanks, Ego, except I have just seen that Soubry is on the panel which kind of ruins the programme. I will need to wear my bullshit filter.

BessieBraddocksEgg Sun 26-Jun-16 18:52:09

Ha ha ego, I just think it's too much of a fight club scenario from the BBC.

I've been keeping a low profile wink

Have you seen a bloke called George Osborne on your travels?

MiaowTheCat Sun 26-Jun-16 18:59:06

More sightings of Soubry in the media in the last 48 hours than in her constituency since election day! She's usually worth a watch to see how she can insult her constituents this week - I think we were all white trash single mothers who've never even SEEN an immigrant yesterday!

Glitteryfrog Sun 26-Jun-16 18:59:26

#whereisosborne ?

specialsubject Sun 26-Jun-16 19:00:30

things have come to a pretty pass when I see a title like this and think 'I'll leave the telly on the football, more peaceful'...

claig Sun 26-Jun-16 19:01:52

'Have you seen a bloke called George Osborne on your travels?'

The last I heard of him, he had gone to ground, holed up in a hideaway away from public view thinking about what to do.

BessieBraddocksEgg Sun 26-Jun-16 19:03:23

Disappointing, I thought it would be something more sinister than that.

janethegirl2 Sun 26-Jun-16 19:04:06

Soubry is exactly why brexit won. She lives in an alternative reality.

UnGoogleable Sun 26-Jun-16 19:04:28

Ooh didn't know this was on - what have I missed?

Alex Salmond just said Nicola Sturgeon is the only politician who has talked any sense in the last 48 hours. I'd go further than that to say that she's the only politician who has actually shown any leadership in the last 48 hrs!

claig Sun 26-Jun-16 19:05:11

MiaowTheCat, I feel sorry for you having her as your MP. Amazingly enough, the Tories think she is one of the best "communicators" they have got. She seems to often drop clangers and rub everyone up the wrong way. I suppose that explains why the Tories think she is good.

BessieBraddocksEgg Sun 26-Jun-16 19:06:06

She is the one who has turned up. Didn't woody Allen say that was the secret to success?

UnGoogleable Sun 26-Jun-16 19:06:12

'Should we have had the referendum if we didn't know all the facts'.

The facts were there if people chose to look for them. The massive let down was that the politicians failed completely to convey those facts to the electorate. Presumably through arrogance or apathy.

'She is the one who has turned up.'

Good point. She has got a thick skin and has turned up to spread some spin. She deserves credit for that.

BessieBraddocksEgg Sun 26-Jun-16 19:09:49

Nicola Sturgeon not Soubry that is.

UnGoogleable Sun 26-Jun-16 19:10:26

Dimbleby hasn't had much sleep in the last 48 hours has he? He deserves a nice long holiday soon!

UnGoogleable Sun 26-Jun-16 19:11:06

Well said lady in the black & white dress
