I voted remain and I'm beyond depressed but it's fanciful to think that Scotland in Europe on its own will be no different from being there as part of the UK; even if it were to happen, which is not in the least bit guaranteed no matter how loudly Sturgeon says it is.

Yes. Having been gobsmacked by the total lack of leadership at Westminster over this whole thing I want no more to do with the union - and I voted no last time round. It appears that nobody leading the Brexit campaign had actually expected a win, and there is no plan for the next steps. Madness. Let's get out.

Definitely want to stay with the union. I voted leave and can't see how us leaving our nearest neighbours is a good idea, they are our biggest trading partners - 4 times more than the EU not including oil and gas.

DanyallasDonkey - it's quite simple.

If the UK were a federal state so Scotland had a voice and was not always outvoted, then I might think more favourably towards it.

Whereas the EU has a federal structure in which each of the constituent nations has a voice and, for major issues, a veto. Quite apart from the fact that only a small amount of our sovereignty is ceded (unlike ALL of it to WM), the structures of the EU mean that (contrary to the lies of the Brexit campaign), there is not the same degree of democratic deficit.

TBH, I don't want to see the destruction of England, Wales or NI anymore than Scotland because that's what Brexit will cause. But I will vote for Scotland to leave the union if Brexit goes ahead

I am still confused with the SNP argument. In the UK Scotland has 10% of the vote, have great input into laws/debate etc & exports £48 billion a year to the rest of the UK, in the EU they have 1% of the vote, have little say & exports to all 27 nations combined is £17 billion a year

I was a No voter in 2014. However, I could be persuaded to be a Yes to stay within the EU, but I'd still like to know how Scotland would fund itself - the figures didn't stack up last time and I can't see how the finances could have improved in the interim.

Although, if Scotland could stay in the EU whilst England leaves, it could be attractive for financial institutions to shift from London to Edinburgh.

I now live in England but Scottish & do hope we can get back up there again.

I would have been a strong NO in 2014.

Now I would be YES if I had vote as long as it meant Scotland never leaving the EU.

If we need to leave & then rejoin i'm not sure.
