I feel quite optimistic this morning. We have no idea what is going to happen but I am certain that UK was stagnating and that changes needed to happen.

I'll be honest, I wasn't decided on remain or leave, although I could see both had some benefit. I think the best thing at this point is to work together to move forward in a positive manner. Fighting and bemoaning the result does little good and only serves to divide people further.

It's going to be so exciting choosing between which child you send to the doctor if they both get sick. Which English resort you holiday in as you can't afford to go abroad.

I can't honestly say that I'm worried that people can't go abroad for holidays. I'm more concerned about those that are vulnerable (poor, disabled) being targeted in a new budget, such as the one the conservatives have discussed already. I'd like to think that this is the start of people standing up to the government and holding them more accountable for their decisions. If nothing else, I am hoping that it motivates people to get more involved in government and be more vocal about some of the things that have really hurt the UK over the past few years with the conservatives in charge.

Quite frankly, I am expecting sentiment towards the EU more negative over the next few years, as they are likely to attempt to make things difficult for the UK in order to use us as an example. The last thing they want is the other countries to follow suit. It's very grasshopper v ants IMO.

Being "Chicken Little" and going around saying "the sky is falling" is going to do precious little good. I'd rather see people be optimistic and make the best of things than be all doom and gloom and tearing the country apart.

Which attitude is more productive? I'd warrant that optimism and moving forward is the best approach at this point.

Yes, fiddling while Rome burns is a great idea. Meanwhile the pound is crashing and £20bn is wiped off share prices, trashing jobs and pensions.

There is a management technique called SWOT analysis. SWOT stands for strengths weaknesses opportunities threats. You analyse yourself (S/W) and the external environment (O/T) and make plans accordingly.
