Brexit

What's everyone's thought on the future of the NHS?

After the debate last night I'm still undecided! Would anyone give me their opinion please on what happens to the NHS if either side win?

If we exit - I don't believe that the funds saved on the EU membership will be channelled back into the NHS, I just don't believe the political promises being made will ever happen. When talking with people at work the popular opinion seems to be that the NHS will crash & be privatised very quickly.

If we remain - there are no promises that the NHS will be saved. Given that the Tories have been dismantling the NHS piece by piece for a good while now, how long can we expect it to survive?

Which result would be more beneficial to saving the service as a whole?

Thanks for any replies, (I appreciate that this is the zillionth thread about the referendum but its getting a bit late for me to be undecided)

The NHS is a red herring in the eu debate.

The tories have an agenda to destroy the NHS. If there's a Brexit they'll kick it hard using Brexit has an excuse when they would have done it anyway.

If there's a remain vote, then they'll carry on as they are making cuts while pretending it is ring fenced.

I think voting remain and hoping that the EU referendum fall out means that the Tories crumble is my only hope. Doubt it'll happen.

I don't trust the EU to protect our NHS. I'd rather we put up with the Tories a bit longer, bide our time and hope they get voted out at the next election. At least the UK government has an opposition.

Nothing will happen either way in my opinion
Even if we voted labour in tomorrow the NHS is unsustainable in its current form
We need to stop treating it like it is an untouchable Saint and reorganise so it can remain ' free' at the point of use

Its screwed either way.
See nurse bursaries. See useless CQC. See poor management. See stupid budget pots that don't relate to each other.

Bugger all to do with the EU.

And actually bugger all to do with the amount the NHS gets to a large degree.
