Has your proxy vote arrived yet?

Just wondering if anyone else was still waiting?

My proxy is still waiting, I've chased it up and been told to wait but the referendum is inching closer and as my general election postal vote didn't arrive until AFTER the elections I was careful to proxy vote this time, so I will be annoyed if I still don't get to vote!

I'm an overseas voter if that makes a difference.

Mine did (well I'm voting by proxy for DP who will be away with work).

We posted the form last week so it would have got there on the Tuesday or the Wednesday before the deadline that day and the proxy came on Saturday I think. We're in the UK close to the Election Office although it was posted in a very rural area a few hours away from the office as we were away - glad it got there in time because it was a last minute thing.

Can they say whether they've received your form?

Thank you, yes they received it and have confirmed that. They said that it'd be there the week before. 😔

I'm a proxy vote and whilst yes we did get confirmation (mine via emai, DH via post) your proxy just turns up at your polling station and votes as you. That's all that happens, so if they've confirmed over the phone, your proxy just needs to turn up. He/she will be on the list as your proxy. Our assigned proxy hasn't received anything so I did just send copies of confirmation that we'd received to her to take in case there was an issue. I'm sure it'll all be fine.

Thank you. My proxy still has nothing although the council confirmed they posted last Thursday... But she can just turn up it seems.

Phew!
