I think it will be around 54% remain and 46% out.

Last week, I'd have predicted that it would be closer, but I think Farage's racist posters will have tipped some of the undecided voters in the opposite direction.

52 % remain is my guess

Closer than I would like but hopefully the right result !

I honestly don't know.

A lot will depend on the turnout and the demographic of the voters.

Apparently low turnout more likely to be leave.

Remain need to get the younger voters out as they are apparently the demographic more likely to vote remain.

They are also however the demographic least likely to vote.

Remain 55%. I want to leave.

I think there could be voters that say one thing and do another in the booth.

Everyone was convinced of a Labour victory in the GE remember.

Sadly I think recent events will guarantee a Remain vote.

Polls are really split.

Pollsters are saying it isn't like usual elections etc

As Wasp says remain need a good turn out.

I think it's too close to call. Maybe just Remain.

Whatever it is about half the country will be upset.

This has all been nothing but divisive and I can't see it changing anytime soon.

I think Leave will win.

Report
MangoMoon · 21/06/2016 00:33

I think remain will win at about 65%

I'm voting leave.

Either way I hope there's a very good turn out so that it's a decent representation.

Remain, by the skin of it's teeth.

I'm hoping leave, think it will be about 52%.

Remain 53% Leave 43%
I am leave because of democracy or lack thereof.
Lack of transparency (wait for announcements after euro ref)
Euro army (I am convinced it will happen)
but to be frank I don't like
Farage (who actually does) Boris or Gove.
I don't want my kids to do euro service :(

I think Remain will have it, though I (who have no vote) hope that Leave wins. The undecided are more likely to go with the status quo, and you can't discount the effect that Jo Cox's murder has had on people's opinions. To think that one mentally ill man has , by his actions, influenced the outcome of this referendum is incredible (not the right word, but I'm struggling to find a term that encompasses both my horror at what he did, and my revulsion that Jo 's death has been used as a political weapon, which it has), and boggles my mind. Right now, I just want it to be over, so that we can all move forward in a positive way, no matter what the outcome. So, yeah, I think Remain will win, and I think we may all live to regret it. Personally, I think both campaigning sides have behaved very badly , both have resorted to 'ad populum' arguments, and not a single media outlet has presented fair coverage of the implications of a decision in either direction. The entire country is confused, and ill informed. I count myself among the ill informed, if it makes any dofference. Looking forward to it all beng over, one way or another.

I fear it will be Remain now for all the reasons FurryDog gives.

But you never know. I do believe that Leave has common sense on its side and most people are very sensible.

Also hoping for a miracle like the Queen coming out or Gareth Bale.

It is the EU's fault too for us being mis-informed and deliberately under informed. There has been so little honestly. Fed up with it all too but struggling to make the right decision for my kids.

Report
Spinflight · 21/06/2016 04:07

I'm pretty sure that remain will win it easily.

There are going to be some damned nasty repercussions if the EU presses ahead or if it transpires that the government and their campaign have been deceiving us though.

I think Leave will win and everyone will be surprised (like they were when the Conservatives won the election last year).

Everyone on this thread thinks the result will be the opposite of what they want to happen.

I think remain will win by a good margin.

DH was just talking about this (we have interesting lives - honestly) and he is an Out but only just.

From what he has heard (his job is one where they do talk about this sort of stuff) that there are a fair amount of 'quiet leavers'. In that what with that poster etc people aren't wanting to say which way they are going to go because of labels but they will vote leave iyswim.

And then posts like yours and MrsB's change my mind! Are a large amount of people really sitting quietly on their 'leave' vote? I can't see it.

Me neither, especially if this website and other social media outlets is anything to go by, the leavers aren't exactly quiet, they are the ones making all the noise and some leave obsessives seem to spend every waking hour pumping out anti-Eu diatribes. I wish they would be bloody quiet sometimes.
