What is 'Bounty' made from?

Following on from the "Baby wipes made from plastic" thread; I just wondered if anyone could tell me what Bounty kitchen towel is made from...surely it can't be paper??

Y'know I didn't even consider the chocolate version when I posted . Thanks for the info LL, I will pass it on to DH.

I think what he really wanted to know was why it doesn't disintegrate like all the other brands of kitchen towel? What makes it different?

I think its improved performance over other paper towels is down to its texture and fluffiness.
