Teeth flossers

I have been using the plastic flossing 'harps', and have never seen a more environmentally friendly alternative on the high st. It occurs to me, there may be some wood ones available somewhere. Don't know what the string part would be made of, but in an ideal world I would be able to compost them. I have tried the flossing string, but found it impossible to get round my weirdly angled teeth. Ideally, they wouldn't cost a fortune. Am I asking for too much here? TIA.

this is not like anything you mentioned OP, but would you consider a water flosser?

That's interesting Sleep thanks. My concern having looked at it is some of my teeth are so tightly packed together the jet wouldn't do it.

You still need to floss even using water flossers or air flossers.

You can get a refillable harp,yes it's plastic but you buy it once and you can then use bamboo floss.
