Lamazuna solids shampoo just cleans your hair, no residue, no need to do an apple cider vinegar rinse or a bicarbonate spray.

Found online for about £10.

Had to share as it's taken me a while and after lots of experiments this is the best one.

For the record I have fine, blonde hair and wash it every other day.

I don't work for Lamazuna either - I'm just thrilled to find this one and wanted to share with others.

Thanks! Will give it a try.

I’ve looked at these a few times, they look so different in pics from the likes of lush etc that I was a bit wary (not that that’s a bad thing, just fear of the unknown!).

Am definitely more interested, I have really thick hair so different to yours, but worth a try I reckon.

I love them. But they are expensive compared to others. £10 lasts the same as a lush bar.

I'll give them a try. Has anyone used primal suds? I wondered if theirs was any good.

Ooh sounds interesting. Which version did you use, as it looks like they do a few types? Also are they conditioning as well or do you find you need to use conditioner afterwards? Thanks!

I'll look this up, thank you.

Sorry for the delayed response.

Ok so the one I use is this one

I use one of the sample size solid conditioners from Juliet Rose as I still have some left.

One word of warning, the water turns brown as you rinse the shampoo out but it doesn't colour your hair (I have blonde hair) it just looks like dirty water but I promise it does leave your hair clean.

It's also small for the price but it has lasted for ages and it really hits the mark on all my environmental requirements. I'm trying the coconut one next.

@Kokoloco my hair sounds similar to yours, I only chose the chocolate one because of the scent. Works fine for me, I wash hair every other day but with this I can go for two days without washing now and it's not left dry or brittle even if I forget to use the conditioner. It actually feels softer as if less stripped of natural oils.

Is it sls free?

Yes Thigh it's really good and I have since discovered Beauty Kubes which are also SLS free.

Thanks - just ordered some beauty kubes. I got the unisex one as apparently it's best for sensitive scalps. Also I got samples of the normal to dry and the men's. Will report back.

Please do - would love to hear how you get on with them!

Thanks. I'd given up on my shampoo bar as after 6 weeks I still had matted greasy hair. Used an acv rinse too. I'm going to try this one.

I love Beauty Kubes, no additional weird rinsing nonsense required, and I like that they’re separate cubes so you’re not rubbing a bar on your bonce.

I've been using L'Oréal Elvive Low and then argon oil as a conditioner which has been great but my son has such a sensitive scalp that he is stuck with really harsh prescription stuff that I think is just making things worse.

Plus I'm just keen to try new (old) ways with everything around the house. I feel like we're all drowning in chemicals.

I've been liberally sploshing distilled vinegar in as fabric softener and that's working out and now started using it as rinse aid in the dishwasher.

I use this one and it's brilliant (not vegan though):

I've received the Beauty Kubes and both my son and I have tried them. We both tried unisex then I tried normal. He found his itchy scalp still ltchy and went back to head and shoulders. I think he should persevere as I'm convinced that ultra harsh dandruff shampoos exacerbate the problem they're supposed to be solving.

I thought they were OK but left my hair dry and quite matted. I had to comb through a fair amount of Argan oil. Will persist, maybe I'm doing it wrong or my hair needs time to adjust.

Well my hair is becoming silky now, I think it's an adjustment. I was using sls free before but not bars. I fantasise about living in the wild and wonder how i would wash my hair, rub a coconut on it?

III7 - do you use a conditioner with this? Really interested as I saw castor oil is an ingredient and it's great for hair loss, which I have with my hair and eyebrows. Thanks!

hi @misspopsicle I only just spotted your question.

I don't use a conditioner and don't need to with this shampoo, though my hair is short. It felt a bit like there was a residue on my hair for the first few days, but since my hair has got used to it it has just felt clean and soft.

It lasts ages too - I bought a small £2 bar initially to try it out and it lasted well over two months washing my hair most days.

Continuing with the Beauty Kubes my hair is lovely with them and had a few comments. From my mum but I'll take it. It took a few goes to get the crumbling and making a paste right. I do have to use a conditioner because my hair gets tangled with rubbing the paste in. Thinking of trying ACV rinse next.
