Persil refill station

Does such a thing exist? The only thing I can find online is that Persil do an 'eco refill pouch'.....but it still comes in a plastic pouch!

I know that Ecover have refill stations but I really don't like Ecover as it never seems to shift stains-with two bolognese wearing toddlers in the house I need the power of persil 😆

TIA

I know it’s not really answering your question re Persil, but we are trying Splosh washing products - someone on here recommended them a couple of weeks ago - have literally just put first wash on, so no idea if it works well!

@Etihad haven't heard of Splosh so will have a read up now-interested to know how you get on!

I wrote to them years ago suggesting this and they told me it would be too messy and diffult! I’d like to think they’d pick up on it now...let’s contact them again and see if sense prevails...

I find Asda eco washing liquid much more effective than Ecover, although I realise that this does not address the issue of bottles.

I have switched to powder to avoid plastic. In fact, I have made a batch of powder with grated soap, borax and soda. I also mixed in the remains of the box of Aldi Bio powder that I'd started. So far, it's working well.

The soda and borax were delivered in plastic bags inside a cardboard box and the block of soap was wrapped in plastic, but that's nothing compared to the plastic bottles I would have been buying.

We have very hard water, so I always used soda crystals anyway.

@BikeRunSki ASDA do an eco washing powder??? I haven't seen it. I use their non bio. I switched from BioD as we do so much washing (cloth nappies!!!) the expensive stuff was just killing my pocket book!

Ah. Now. I havn’t actuslky shopped at Asda for several years. If you havn’t seen an eco washing liquid there, then maybe they don’t sell it anymore.
