How long for council property?

Sorry I don't have a clue where to put this.
I joined the housing register 2 months ago.
I bidded on a property and finished 118th out of 156.
How long do you think I'm likely to be waiting?

This is probably not the best place for this question, but the answer is how long is a piece of string. It will depend on lots of factors, what banding you are, what banding others bidding are, whether you're bidding on houses in popular areas or not and whether others also want them etc etc.

If you are in band 3/C then you are unlikely to ever be allocated a property as their will always be someone ahead of you (in the two higher bands). Can you try to get moved up? Have you checked the criteria, could a higher banding apply to you?
