Vegan birthday party food

I have a few vegan friends who I will be inviting to DD's 2nd birthday party. My family is vegi but not vegan. Normally I would buy pizza, (vegi)hot dogs, cakes and buns and sweets. I am 7 months pregnant, work part time and have 2 DCs so I am not going to be putting my apron on anytime soon. What on earth am I going to get. What trashy shop-bought food is vegan and appropriate for a kids party?

I am Ok with baking a vegan cake as I know that's easy. But what about the rest of the food. Hummous, veg to dip in, what about trash? (I'm all about eating crap at a party!)

Falafels, veg samosas, veg spring rolls? They should be vegan I think!

I'm an omnivore myself, but my dad's friend is vegan and I was pleasantly surprised to find out how much junk she's allowed - pink wafer biscuits, bourbon biscuits, 'yoghurt' raisins (some), alpro yoghurts, Linda Mac sausage rolls, most crisps

Linda mcCartney sausages are vegan, so will do for the hot dogs, they are yummy to so if you have any left over you would like them too. You can use Pure spread if needed. Lots of crisps are vegan. Sorbet instead of ice cream. If I think of anything else I'll come back

Hey thanks a lot. Re Swedish Galze, they have recently been bought by scumbag company who test on animals so I know I can't go there. Sorbet is a good idea though and also jelly so will pay a visit to M and S.

What about sweet stuff? Like cakes, or biscuits or sweets? Has everything not got eggs or butter or gelatine in?

Hummus and crisps/veg/ bread to dip

A lot of large shops do some kind of vegan cake in their free from section.

Fruit kebabs?

Poached fruit with non dairy cream?

Depending on your friends viewpoint the Swedish Glace thing may not be a deal breaker. Almost every food company is owned by a multinational doing bad stuff.
