Ethical dilemmas

Co-op pin machine question of the day - were the staff well presented? WTF happens if you press no?

I've ranted about the co-op pin machines trying to strike up conversation before. I don't like it. It bothers me massively.
Today I'm asked, 'Were the staff well presented?'
WTF? I'm then forced to check out the check out girl top to toe and ponder my answer. Does the checkout girl see my answer?
Why doesn't it just say,'Does her bum look big in this?'

I only ever answer the queue length ones as the others are usually crap. Queues are always v long though. Can't use one aisle in ours cos you miss the queue and another is filled with the queue Hmm

only old people use our co-op during the day.
in the evening it's like supermarket sweep and you can run around and be out in 5 minutes.

I tend to say no to whatever the question is. It's payback for the fact my purchases flash up on a screen that all the other school mothers behind me in the queue can see and I resent them knowing I buy Weetos and wine and crisps and shit.

The spotlight flashes on you and a siren sounds. Last 1 minute, feels like a lifetime. Blush

When you press No a loud hooter goes off in the stockroom and everyone else gets to know which person has just been found lacking

A P45 comes out where the transaction slip should be and you have to hand it to the person who is not neatly presented.

God, I hate those weirdy Co-op things. Have only recently started using the Co-op thanks to a new job. Horrid being interrupted when I'm in the middle of entering my PIN. And if they want me to do their market research, they could at least offer me a competition of some sort with a decent prize.

Nothing happens if you press "no"...and the odd thing is that when the checkout person finishes scanning, the question goes.
There have been some really odd questions which have made me laugh!
The checkout operator will know what you've answered by the fact that the left key (their right) is always "yes" and vice versa.
