If you are staying in a converted barn in the middle of nowhere for a week, don't read the James Herbert books that were 20p on Amazon a while ago and you saved for your holiday...grin

Download a few freebie soppy romances, quick!

Everything's cool now but DH had to wake me twice on holiday because it was that obvious I was having nightmares blush

Read a really soppy romance last year on holiday and it nearly put me off reading for ever!

I re-read The Fog recently. Omg! I'm ashamed to say I deleted the book from my kindle and hoped my dc never read it. I found it so much more shocking as an adult than I ever did as a young teen.

James Herbert had a twisted, twisted mind. shock

I think the only James Herbert I've ever read is Fluke. It's not a coincidence that Fluke is probably the least scary book he ever wrote, I am a wuss.
