No idea sorry but if you get in touch with Amazon customer service they should be able to advise you, they seem pretty good.

That happened with one of ours six days after buying it. It was no problem getting a replacement (pc world).

Take a look at the kindle pages on Amazon, they have some tips on e.g. hard resets etc.

if you can't get it to work they are pretty good about replacing them.
