Any interesting/amusing ways to tell your boss your pregnant?

Have been working for new boss for about 3 months (although been in company for 5 years) since coming back from maternity leave

Our group is understaffed and lacking in experienced personnel (which is why they transfered me in here on return from maternity leave)

Time has come to tell him that we are going to have another baby (a little surprise to us - we must have conceived about the same time I went back to work - a surprise, but a good surprise)

Any amusing / interesting / practical suggestions for ways to break the news?

Personally, I am dreading it, and would like to tell him from the other side of the world ....

be deadly honest...tell him that you've been searching for a good way of saying it, and have been dreading it, that you're happy to be preg but didn't plan it this way...i find that total honesty is disarming...

no, he's the nicest man with a great sense of humour - it is just that they convinced me to change from my old job to this job on the basis that they had lots of resignations and were lacking in management to lead the group - so i was quite honoured to be asked to help out - and then we found out that i was actually pregnant

so i guess i feel guilty about leaving him in the lurch when i was specifically supposed to fix a problem (and now i will just add to it my going on mat leave again)

i know - there is nothing i can do about it - i was just hoping there might be some way to lessen the blow that yet another of his staff members is leaving - well, at least i'm coming back i suppose, and not actually resigning

perhaps not best to do what i did...

goes up to boss "erm i might be erm...needing an hour or two off here and there soon because..well you know...im..ermm (does gesture of a bloated tum with hands) y'know...up s**t creek? just thought i should tell you" "oh" he says thoughtfully, "thought you looked a bit fat lately".

Don't do what I did either - break news to entire team (including boss)on the back of an agenda item in a meeting about how one person had left to start his own business, one was off on long term sick...oh, now would be a good time to tell you my great news.

Was gone by 17 weeks pregnant.
