Been sat at this bloody computer for 3 hours with a minutes break. & i've been v v busy.

Cant even leave office to make a drink etc as I'm not allowed to leave phones unattended.

that's crazy. saunter off to the loo, ask someone to mind the phone while you make tea and take a headache tablet.
Mind yourself- hth-

you're entitled to a rest break and certainly ought to be able to move about somebit (not a battery hen!)
what will you do for a "call of nature?" drag the phone to the loo? Clearly you can't sit at your desk all day without food, drink, visiting the lavatory or without a break.
Angry on your behalf - phone calls can be returned, surely management aren't at their desks all day and miss some calls?
can you speak to someone about it?

But you're resting now aren't you if you are free enough to chat online?

they dont really care about you or the business by the sounds of it..

you have to go and tell them cover the phones now, i need a quick break
and you are taking your lunch break at one or whatever..
and do it..

Yeah it's part of the DSE guidelines that computer users take regular breaks away from the desk
