Background: Had a role where I needed to be at work at 07:00. It was only workable as DH was not at work (long story) and was a great job. Took a side step within the same company where the role was fairly flexible. Have been doing role for past year, but so many issues:
- All the rest of the team have been working together for past 20 years, and didn't like me as an, 'outsider..'
- My entire Development Review was spent on complaints from others in the team, but when asked for specifics, was manager was quite vague. Turns out he is good friends with those who made the, 'complaints,' which apparently were:
Thanking them for their work. Context: It was my first day and the role is incredibly technical. I called the engineers and thanked them for their help. This has been logged as a complaint against me
Directing an employee to a location which he then complained he had to do again. However, he had to go again because it wasn't repaired in the first instance.
I have been offered a role with more pay, less hours and is a team I have worked with before - different company, but really professional.
How do I write a resignation letter without being petty?
