I'm also 522 whats your final letter (mines t) I am also married with 2 kids

Also would your employer give you childcare vouchers as that brings down your gross salary quite a bit so you are taxed on less so pay less tax iyswim

hi it's 522l i'm sure it is but can't find my wage slip - does it really matter if the amount is the same?

so if you get the vouchers you can get upto £55 a month an it you times that by 52 weeks in the year and take that off your annual income and then work the tax out i should get my figure?

have worked it out like that and you do ay quite a lot less tax but can you still claim wftc

i end up coming out with less money than i get no for working 10 hours a week - bloody nursery prices

Add a zero on the end of your tax code in place of the l; thats your allowance of income tax free income for the year.

With 522L you'll have to earn £5220 before C&R start taking 22% off.
