Furloughed...

Hi so i work in childcare and take my child to work with me.. I pay for his childcare and get a small discount.. I’ve recently been furloughed the setting is still open to keyworker children only, so a large proportion of us are now furloughed. My question is can the setting charge you a retainer fee whilst I’m being furloughed?

Yes if its in the contract, my contract states full pay required in these circumstances however the nursery have asked parents if they will pay the full payment this month only.
