Hi
I start a new job tomorrow - YIKES!!!!
I had an awful time at my last Company. I was bullied by my boss, went through (or at least started) a formal grievance process but ended up going off sick with stress at the 4 week mark when I was told I would have to wait another 6 weeks before being given an outcome/resolution for the first stage! This was all happening during a period of great stress in my personal life that had been going on since the end of last year (thats another story - and another name though!) which is thankfully now concluded.
But, things are looking up. I am over my last Company and I am looking forward to starting my new job. Its with the NHS which is completely new for me and quite a senior position. The downside is that I have to go full time whereas I only did 2.5 days per week before.
I feel guilty about my three children (6, 3, 1) and having them in longer day care and breakfast/afterschool club etc. I look on the positive side that hopefully it won't be five days a week forever and that there will be some flexibility. I've also pretty much had the last 14 months at home anyway (bar about 6 weeks of part time work).
Has anyone got any tips for getting over the guilt I feel about leaving the children?
