Hoping somebody can give me some guidance.

I'm about to start a new job on the 29th of this month. My contract states that its 2 weeks in advance, 2 weeks in arrears.

I'll be salaried with a pay date of the 15th. Some people I've spoken too have suggested that I will get paid a full months pay on the 15th of next month.

Anyone had a similar experience? TIA

Yes that would be correct, assuming your details are input by cut off date (usually a week or so before payday).

Yes in at least 2 companies I got paid like this.
Monthly pay on the 15th for the whole Callander month.
Moved all my direct debits to the same date and it works very well.

Thanks both. Naturally I'll double check once training has commenced but dont want it to be on of the first things that comes out of my mouth.

Just dont want to move a pile of DD over and then get caught short! Have been paid 4 weekly and most recently weekly so monthly is going to be an absolute godsend!

Thanks all.

Yes, your pay on 15th Nov should be a full month for the whole of November, plus arrears for the couple of days at the end of October.

Yes. at our work that would.mean you get a fill month pay on 15th.
