interview feedback - starting to worry

Interviewed for an NHS role a week ago. Thought I 'clicked' with the panel, but didn't get the job.
I've asked for feedback, very politely, as want to learn from the experience.
Haven't heard anything.
I know their first priority will be getting the successful candidate on board, and they're very busy. But a couple of jobs back, I had a very bad experience and had to leave before the job ate me up. Not in my current role, which is great and I'm only exploring other options for my development.
I'm starting to worry that bad word gets around. It's not even the same industry. But someone from difficult place might play tennis with/do yoga with etc etc someone from interview place.
I thought NHS were quite straightforward/quick about feedback?

I think you're overthinking. It seems unlikely someone from the difficult place plays tennis with one of the interview panel, and that they discussed you. But in that very unlikely event, a) they would be unlikely to give you that as feedback and b) what difference would it make for you?

I don't know whether NHS panels routinely give feedback, or if they do, how promptly. But you've asked, which is all you can do.

Definitely overthinking. NHS HR is generally very slow. Chase them up if you've not heard anything in another two weeks.

Thank you, both. Some deep breaths.
@bombardier, do employers mind being chased? I don't want to become one of Those interviewees.
It's difficult because I can appreciate giving feedback to a rejected candidate is not a priority to them, but it would help me.

When I worked at a uni and did interviews, the chair offered the job but HR dealt with all feedback so there’s no way that could be a quick process if things have to go back and forth to check what is right.

I would speak to HR and then you’re not chasing the panel directly.

Good idea @mner, thanks
