SMP Entitlement

Hi ladies.
I have a bit if a dilemma at the moment, I'm currently 24+5 and I'm potentially about to lose my job.
I have been looking into what I would be entitled to money wise and it seems I should still be entitled to SMP from them as I have been working for them for over 3 years and I am currently in my qualifying week, plus if I was to get dismissed it would be after the 18th of this month so well after the qualifying week.
Will I definitely get SMP and would I have to apply for it or should it happen automatically?
