Hey my company has been sold to a slightly larger company. I have been tupe over i started on monday.
Without outing i am a skilled person who has 15 years experience and training. Have been senior in my role for many many years i also train in my role.
Started in new place monday was told in tupe letter nothing waz changing.
However the new conpany has a policy that means only qualified professionals are allowed to do my job. I am experienced but never did the degree.
My role has been reduced to answering the phone and booking appointments.
Im on the same hours and pay but obviously im now on a pay freeze as i am now a glorified receptionist on a senior consultants pay.
Im looking into going to a new company that will value my experience. But can i refuse the transfer as my job role has changed so much?
Acas says if they can justify the change for economic organizational or something reasons.
Well they are justifying it by saying its company policy.
Where do i stand on this?
I was with a large company for 13 years then made redundant and took this job 18 months ago so will the fact i have been there less than 2 years mean anything?
Thanks for any advice
