Training contract and pregnant

Hi all,

so I am 5 months into my training contract (which is 2 years long) I now find myself pregnant. I am due in May, I thought having the baby won't affect my life but it has changed my work life. I feel like I am not being given as much training and guidance as my fellow trainee at work because I am pregnant.

I have tried to ask for more work as I tend to find myself running out of tasks. I feel as though I am politely being ignored. I am not sure what to do. I am not sure how my office will approach my training contract and maternity leave.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Maybe ask again? Perhaps the firm feel they need to train your colleague up faster as you won’t be around soon?
