Maternity leave help

I’m 6 months into maternity leave and my fixed term contract expires on the 30th Nov. Contract isn’t being renewed so yhehre paying my remaining stat mat pay (for nov,dec and jan) and all my holiday pay on the 15th Nov. Ideally I’d like a job to start in Feb/March but I’m having to look for a new job because I’d rather go back early than have no job and no money in March. But if I start a new job in December or January what do I do about the mat leave that I’ll have already been paid for for those months. I don’t want to be seen as trying to commit fraud or anything by being paid mat leave and working. Would I have to pay it back to my old employer or somewhere else? I hope this makes sense! TIA
