Help, ive got an office type job but i work in a garden shed, i don't have water or a toilet (but can use theirs in their house, but its not always unlocked) i work 90% alone (was told at interview boss would be there most of the time), i'm on minimum wage and no pension. 20 hrs a week.
Ive got the possibility of 22.5 hours more pay with pension in a large corporate company. There will be other people, water and toilet facilities.
Although i like my current job the issues of lone working ( i dont mind occassionally but all of the time is really lonely, plus im unable to have music on as the speakers are disabled on the pc) lack of facilities and the biggest lack of pension have caused me to look for something else.
Ive not been there long and am the only employee, although they could possibly match the pay and them maybe provide a pension?? they cant change the fact i work in a shed! Although i get on with the boss, normal banter etc i am scared to tell her i'm not happy with the arrangements and am worried that it might turn nasty. She said a month or so back i just want to make sure your happy so you don't walk on us! i think shes a little aware that the set up is unorthodox and i don't know many people that would work in those conditions. Whats my best approach??
