Will I look petty for reporting petty behaviour?

A colleague has really taken a dislike to me. I get snarky comments for the smallest thing for example I glanced at my watch while she was talking to me and she immediately snapped something along the lines of 'I can see you don't have time to talk to me' and today she accused me of looking daggers at her because I glanced over my shoulder when she walked behind my chair. It's pretty ridiculous stuff and it's not every day - just occasionally she gets out the wrong side of bed and then I'm in for it that day! It's not serious enough to be considered bullying, it's just making me uncomfortable and slightly sad that she behaves like this.
I know that another colleague complained about her a few months ago but I don't think anything was done.
We're a very small company (no HR depts or anything like that) and I'm senior to her - I suspect she might have a problem with this - but I don't directly manage her.
I have the perfect opportunity to mention it to my boss tomorrow but will it reflect badly on me for bringing it up?
I don't know what I would gain out of telling him other than just having it on his radar. Or should I just ignore her? Give her enough rope sort of thing?
I know there's a similar thread on here but i didn't want to hijack it. Please help!

I wouldn't complain as such but I'd maybe mention it, along the lines of being concerned you'd upset her and asking for advice "I think I've done something to upset x but I've no idea what, she always seems so cross with me and can be a bit rude, do you know anything about it or have any advice?"

That way you're making your boss aware there is an issue but you look like you're looking for solutions rather than just having a whinge.

Thanks for replying!
I don't want to come across as not knowing how to deal with it as I'm only recently promoted on the basis of experience pre-DCs. Boss thinks I'm doing well but in reality it's been a massive shock to the system going back to this level of responsibility after 5 years.
I think your suggestion of asking if he knows anything about it is good. Its deflecting away from me then!
Thank you.

Ha! I work in an entirely male dominated environment and got promoted a lot when I was young and before I f*cked my career by having 3 dc Grin

I told my boss and he was great about it. It came up in conversation so I didn't need to make a big deal about it. He was kind of appalled but I think, not surprised. It was good to know that I'll be supported if I need it and it gets out of control. Thanks for your advice SmileStar

Great news! I hope she pulls herself together, it's hard when people are unkind and you don't know why!!
