Do you have any holiday left?

Is there a back story? Because if not that is pretty poor to be honest.

Feelings like jacking is fine dong it would be a bit shit.
Have you any holidays? Could afford to take some unpaid leave so.its worth asking?
If not sorry but you just have to suck it up Cake

I'm on notice to leave at the end of the month (possibly - its complicated) and being moaned at a lot at the moment for other peoples mistakes, but thems the breaks sometimes with work. Grin

No hol left. Backstory is job too stressful. Was off for six weeks with stress in May and things not changed at all. Found a new job but eight week notice period is killing me. I never had an issue with work in other jobs but im finding this so hard

Maybe do what Winchester suggested and ask about unpaid leave or even gardening leave.

Or yes use up any holiday you haven't taken.

Sympathy - it is horrid to be in a job you hate.

If you are actually ill with stress which it sounds like then get signed off.
Your op made it sound like.you couldn't be arsed but now I think its more than that.

If you don't need a reference, you could just leave. They won't sue you for it (unless you're some amazing employee who brings in loads of money, or something). They'd obviously rather you left without working full notice than went off sick, and it would be more ethical. Best to try to agree it first.

Thanks i might need a reference in future and want to be fair to the team so i cant really go off sick so im trapped for the next few weeksSad

Just keep your head down don't take on anything extra (the phrase you'll have to cope without me soon I'm helping you prepare is a good one) and leave and arrive on time everyday. Don't take work home physically or emotionally.
Leave work with a skip because you ate one fay closer to freedom (has to be said in the brave heart voice Grin )

And well just count the days off
