I am hoping someone can offer help here- name changed for obvious reasons and I am being rather vague I know but I don't wish to be outed
DP has been with his company for 15 years; we have found out through a third party that management are are trying to get rid of him and put a family member in his place. They have painted a completely false picture of him accusing him (not to his face as yet) of all sorts of issues which are completely false. He will be called into management at some point but the false information will not be mentioned- just noted on his records- as he would be able to complelty disprove it.
Small family run company no union
If they sack him/make him redundant/whatever does he have the right to see his personal info held ? We are worried that when he applies for jobs this fake info will be written down on reference to future employers
I am aware that this post sounds a bit cloak and dagger but I have had to leave certain elements out
