Hoping someone knowledgeable can help with SPL
I'm due in October and am planning on taking maternity leave (as I get 12 weeks pay) then after 6 months in total changing to SPL so that DH can take 6 months. No one from either of our employers has taken this before so they are a bit confused by it all.
My questions are:
If I was to return then find another job / quit whilst DH is on SPL can I do this without him losing the SPL stat pay? Or do I have to remain with the same employer throughout the year?
My terms and conditions are that I must return to work for 6 months after maternity leave. If I return for the 6 months that DH is on SPL have I legally returned to work, or does it not count?
