Manager keeps changing my day off

Hi i need some advice about a problem at work. I currently work 26 hours a week at work and have every tuesday off. I work in retail and we are expected to work one bank holiday a year, i have put my name down to work the last may bank holiday and august bank holiday.

Anyway heres the problem - easter monday week i was expecting to work wed,thurs,sat but my manager has put me in tues,wed,thurs,sat and has told me that my day off for that week is monday I ever have a monday off.

Can they do this?

Presumably they have enough bh cover on Monday, it is a shorter day and you elected not to work it ? Are you contracted for 26 hours or specific days ?

yes they have enough cover, i am contracted for 26 hours
