Should I declare this as a disability on application form?

NC'd for this. I'm applying for a job in the public sector. I have tinnitus and some hearing problems, which mean if I'm in a noisy space, I can't hear properly, and if I'm in a noisy environment for a long time my ears ring afterwards, which is very unpleasant.

In my previous job I had a quiet office, so it wasn't a problem. I'm not sure if I should declare this on the application form - I'm not registered disabled, and I'm not sure how to interpret the guidance given in the Equality Act in this case. I'd be guaranteed an interview for the post if I noted a disability on the application form, but I don't see myself as having a disability IYSWIM - just an annoying problem with my blimmin' ears! Not sure what to put, so I'd appreciate some advice. TIA.

Yes, declare it. It's significant and long lasting.

Thanks lougle. It is indeed both of those things, but I feel like a bit of a fraud to be honest - but I don't want to not declare it and (big if, if I get the job) have to ask for adjustments afterwards.
