Hi all

I've had some brilliant help from lovely mners before so thought I'd ask you for advice once again.

As some will remember, I've been made redundant so am desperately job hunting and have just had a phonecall for a post office interview on wed.

I've got no information about it, and can't seem to find much online.
This will be my 5th interview, and I just don't seem to be very good at them. I really want this one, please help!!

My parents were counter clerks years ago - I guess the qualities they're looking for are the ability to work under pressure, customer facing skills, probably a bit more selling than was required before "do you need any mobile top ups today", mathematical skills (although I think alot is done on screen now but the ability to work well / be comfortable with number), organisation in relation to paperwork. They'll probably ask for examples in your life / previous work experience where you can demonstrate these skills. Not sure whether that helps. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply Mandy, and it does help!
It's what I was thinking too. I can't find anything useful online so think I'm going to prepare in the same way I would for a bank interview, as there's some overlap in both jobs
