Do i have any rights here at all?

Have been treated really unfairly by my employers but i am on sessional contract.

I was signed off sick by the doctor due to stress (caused by lack of training and support in my job)

I have repeatedly asked for help and guidance, fobbed off.
Been given responsibilities that weren't, imo, down to me.

So today went in and made sure everything was in place so that no disruption (i could have just stayed home) and for meeting, where my request to reduce hours was met and all the requests for support and guidance agreed to.

Great - felt on top of things, agreed to return to work on Monday (i dont work friday)

Line manager contacted me and said that that actually now they were taking all of my hours from me, apart from two.

I now feel quite ill again (its making me anxious and depressed) so will visit doctor tomorrow.

I am supposed to be "signed off" but stupidly agreed to work next week.

I am on sessional contract so i don't think i have any protection at all? I wont get "sick pay" anyway even though i have a doctors note? I can't do anything about this at all can i? Apart from complain and tell them what a crock of shit they are, but they know this already (company has terrible reputation) and dont give a fuck.

Who do I approach to find out my rights? HR? and if so who? (not specifically, obviously but when i approach them who should i ask to speak to?)

I don't really know what you mean by a sessional contract. Are you employed, and if so, for how long continuously?

What rights are you hoping for exactly? I mean, what is it you are hoping you are entitled to do/claim?

Employed on four weekly contracts.

two things - will i get paid as i was signed off sick by doctor?

I want to complain that i was unfairly treated - inadequate support and training.

I don't want to "claim" anything but feel i want to make a complaint, so who to talk to about this - i feel that my line manager i getting away with not supporting her staff and basically passing the buck on things. I don't think that should be allowed to continue.

From a personal point of view i don't want a blot on my CV as i don't feel this was my fault, i think i performed well but just didn't have adequate support and therefore unable to do the job to my best ability.

Thnks for answering

Flowery - I think I'm right in saying that the OP works in further education, if that's of any help. I'm guessing that she's employed to teach certain courses and that she's now been told that she isn't needed to teach those courses any more. (Cynically, I would guess that she's been left with the classes they can't find someone else to teach.)
