Pregnancy: The Mumsnet Guide - the essential, comprehensive and compassionate birthing bible for every parent-to-be.
I have been in my current job for a month earning £6/hour and I am contracted for 12 hours although I always do more. Prior to this I had been a SAHM for 5 years and received no CTC or WTC.Now I have received a letter fro hospital telling me I have to have my gall bladder removed next month and wondered whether I would get SSP. Does anyone know.I am on a 6 month trial period, if that makes any difference.
How many extra hours. You need to earn an average of £102 a week before you can claim SSP.
