bugger - just had time off for LO, now ill myself

well as i put in the title, I have just had to take time off with LO - d&v and now it seems she has passed it on to me. I am sitting at my desk with stomach cramps, a really uncomfortable gurgly tummy and have had to dash to the loo several times.
Work have been so understanding (so far) with regards to time off. They manage the nursery LO goes too so know the rules regarding exclusions for sickness but I don't want to push my luck too much.
If I am unwell after a period of absense for dependants leave what steps can they take? I am quite worried as we are going through restructuring and changes to do with cuts etc...
