Elderly parents

Care in France?

Very grateful for any help or insight. My elderly relatives live in France. One has been diagnosed with inoperable cancer. Is there anything like Macmillan/Marie Curie or hospice care that might be able to help them? Or is the care in France so great that these types of top up services are not needed so don't exist?
Do they try to keep elderly cancer patients out of hospital in France like here, or will he be expected to be cared for at home? They don't speak French so that may complicated things further.
Thanks very much
( not my parents, but my parents are worrying about them, so am trying to be supportive)

Not sure where your relatives live, but it might be worth getting in touch with these people. Hopefully they can offer some practical help and support cancersupportfrance.org/

Thank you that does look helpful. All their friends moved back to the UK when hit their mid 70s. They are very isolated so this may be a real benefit to them.
