Hello everyone.

I am a final year student Manchester Metropolitan University. Me and my team are conducting research into the care of elderly people, and we need your help.

We have created a short questionnaire (it only takes roughly 2 or 3 minutes in total) that we are looking for answers to. Because the topic of our research is so niche, we have found it very difficult to gather responses, and so I'm now turning to you to help us gather information, and if you want more information or even the results of our investigation, get in touch directly and I'd be more than happy to share them with you.

The link to the questionnaire is as follows -

Thanks very much,
Garth

Done- your survey does not make sense on your final page as answers are required but the instruction is only to complete if not tried using tech?
Why not seek more info about the carer and dared for person? Age/ distance/ disability?

Thanks for the feedback, and thank you so much for filling the survey out. We need as many responses as possible so it's really appreciated.

Why not seek more info about the carer and cared for person? Age/ distance/ disability? Whether cared for person is living on their own, with a partner (though still needing care) or in the carer's home. Whether the person answering is sole carer or there are other carers. Many of us are the situation of caring for elderly parents in addition to having LA or private carers come in several times a day.

You ask why we don't use apps/mobile tech - might have been worth asking specifically whetehr we were aware of such stuff.

this survey makes very little sense

if you say you have used tech to assist with caring, later on it gives a section you should only complete if you haven't used tech.

as an information gathering exercise, it doesn't make much sense. What is the goal, what are you trying to find out?
