I'm thinking of getting my 83 year old dad a new mobile phone for Christmas. He carries a phone at all times, as an emergency measure and also because it has alarms set to remind him to take his pills. His current one is an old Nokia, with tiny buttons, that he's beginning to struggle with, but won't change because he's worried about setting a new one up. However, as he'll be with us for a month over Christmas, we can help him with that.
Requirements are:
- Physical buttons that are easy to press. Definitely not touchscreen.
- Nice, clear audio.
- Loud ringtone.
- Ability to set at least three daily alarms, which also need to be loud.
I keep coming across the Doro 5030 online, and it seems to fit the bill. But I don't know if it will do the multiple daily alarms.
