Housing / home for parents with different needs

I'm looking for somewhere for my parents. Dad 83 getting frailer, DM 81 Alzheimers. I think the model Dad wants is a retirement village type place where they can live independently but where there's a lot of on site support, and a care home next door where DM could have occasional day care and/or move in when the time comes.
Looking in northwest Kent, Sussex, Surrey, perhaps Essex.
I've found one in East Grinstead but would like to look at others and actual recommendations would really help. Does anyone know anywhere?

Sorry can't post any links, but try typing in 'extra care housing', or ask at the local council offices for a list of providers. Choice will depend on whether your parents want to rent or buy, there are Registered Social Landlords like Anchor who provide housing of the type you pr oarents would like.

I recently visited a scheme in my area, north of England, with self contained one and two bedroomed flats, some actually part of the main building, others nearby. There is a range of services available if and when needed, plus communal spaces, activities, a cafe etc. This is a rented scheme, provided on a not for profit basis.

I hope you find something suitable.
