Help me with a word challenge for dd age 8, need interesting words she can use but won't know.

It all start about a week ago when she got her first dictionary. A friend gave her the word Serendipity dd looked it up and since has been trying to use the word or telling people what it means. She's now asking if she can a new word every day during half term.
