Not Harmood St by any chance? I don't know a lot as DS is nearly 10 but autistic and DD is only 2. Hawley Infants in Camden Town is wonderful, St Pauls in Primrose Hill is good but CofE I think. Not sure about others, name some names and I'll see if I've heard anything.

No, the flat is in maitland park road. The closest ones seem to be Rhyl Primary, New End Primary, Fleet Primary (maybe a bit far..), Kingsgate Primary. Not sure which would be the nearest. Many thanks.

Rhyl is in a grotty area, close to Queeen's Crescent market. Fleet OK I think, never heard of Kingsgate and New End has great reputation. Have you looked at Hawley?

I think Gospel Oak is primary too and there's Fitzjohns, but its in Fitzjohns Ave (duh!). Oh, and Primrose Hill primary, classic state school, Victorian building, but don't know what its like, never heard anything bad. Also the Rosary on Haverstock Hill if you're catholic (or near enough!)

Well, if you want any other info about the area then let me know. I'm sure more MNers do live around here, I'm sure I saw someone post only yesterday about Camden but can't remember what thread it was...... Cold feet = natural but depends HOW cold!! Where are you moving from?

Hi Davros i wanted to thank you for your info - we decided against buying the flat in camden and we are staying in the good east end - may possibly leave UK, who knows. Thankyou.

Sorry bellow - I didn't see this thread - I could have given you info about schools. Let me know if you change your mind about buying in Camden (my ds goes to a state school there).
