Joggers, trainers, a top with a stripe across the middle, messy hair = Horrid Henry?

scruffy hair, pair of shorts, thick socks, cap--Just William.

Burglar Bill

Harry Potter

The Cat in the Hat - just wear black clothes and make hat from cardboard and red painted stripes.

Funny Bones - skeleton

I praise the lord that my DS hates dressing up so is opting out of it this year. It makes him feel really uncomfortable so I'm not forcing him to do it.

We did Where's Waldo/Willy when DS was that age.Blue or Red stripey top, glasses and a stripy bobble hat.
Thought we had finished with all that for Secondary, but this year they have decided YR7 & 8 can dress up. Got him a CHERUB tshirt on line, so he is wearing that.

x the y fairy ...at least 150 to choose from!
mine has opted for Holly The Christmas fairy, as we have a doll as well as a book that came down the chimney

lol nwmum - a friend of dd1's went as saucepan man last year. He had to take them all off in the end as he was clanking so much and they were getting in the way

Dd1 wants to go as evie the mist fairy but apart from the wings I can't see that she looks anything like it! must admit I wish it was something a bit more traditional. I thought winnie the witch would be good but she's not having a bar of it

we have done cat in the hat...all dressed in black as mentioned, white gloves (from pound shop), a red bow made from cardboard and a hat from white and red poster board. Then a pai of whiskers with black eyeliner. Looks a treat!

DS1:Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III (Viking)
DS2:Robin Hood (from Each Peach Pear Plum)

Hee hee - have roped in MIL for DS1's costume - she is very conveniently staying this week . DS2's costume is (hang head in shame) bought in - but he is autistic and his clothes have to be as like normal garments as possible - something that wouldn't happen if I tried to make his costume
