Does anybody have a link to a website that can tell me the distance between two postcodes in a straight line ?
So that I can see the catchment areas for some schools.

I was frustrated because it would only work out N15 to N17 for example not N15 4PW and was therefore not quite accurate enough (especially when oversubscribed schools often dont take kids who are further than 0.6 miles away, so every little bit counts a lot). I couldn't find a calculator that would do more specific calculations however...

Try your local or county council website. The Surrey CC one has an interactive map facility which allows you to do this, and measure walking routes.
