tuck shop at the dc's school. healthy stuff only. NOT everyone has a snack there regularly. plus i am too mean to dole out 25p a day when there is perfectly good fruit in the fruitbowl they can take.

if they are v v good - they get tuck money. tis a treat, not a regular

(didn't think schools were allowed to sell crisps and "naughty" food??)

There is a fruit scheme at our primary - you pay by the term, but I don't pay for it as we always have tons of fruit in our bowl at home which they take or rather DS1 did he has started secondary school today. DS2 is too busy getting the most out of his play time to eat.

The head would never in a million years have a tuckshop at our school.

Our dinner lady sells snacks at first break, these include fuit, toast, oatcakes, fruit juice etc. 40p a day buys toast and fresh juice, DS loves "toast time" break as he calls it. No sweets or crisps etc though.

The school provides fruit for the afternoon break. Not sure if that continues in Y1, forgot to ask.
