I had a girl who did her Grade 6 piano about a month ago, and she is expecting her results in August.

Two weeks is about average for most exam boards sometimes quicker if the exam is taken at the end of the exam period.

Two of my pupils took grade 1 clarinet and flute (ABRSM)and recieved their results in just under 2 weeks

DD took her cello exam on the 30th June and got her results this morning. This is the longest I have ever known them to take - we usually get the results within 2 weeks.

That's one reason I like Trinity Guildhall - we have NEVER had to wait more than about 10 days. The quickest ever was a friend of ours whose daughter did the exam on Friday afternoon and found out the next day!

Mind you, certificates can take a while to come through, but at least you're not kept waiting for the actual results.

Perhaps they've outsourced to ETS wink

At our school the TG exam results are given at the end of the day they take them which is fab. The longest wait for ABRSM we've had was 5 weeks, but usually it's about 2 weeks.

Hope everyone's dcs have done well.
