cool website with lots of really good worksheets. all free

also exceptional but yearly subscription which is worth its weight in gold.
www.linguascope.co.uk

our school has the school subscription which our kids can use at home. parents can buy a yearly subscription as well.

does not have a subscription but really good online stuff. www.languageskills.co.uk

its exercises follow the Mary Glasgow books. the names escape me at the moment.

kids love this site: www.espanol-extra.co.uk can't keep boys off the penalty shootout

thanks so much kiskidee. we have a school membership to linguascope - the kids LOVE it and it was my lifeline when pregnant and not feeling great!!
i'll try the others you suggest - and i like the sound of penalty shootout!

oops, languageskills does have a membership. but it only applies to the french portion of the site. the spanish stuff is still for free. if you want more ideas let me know. those are the ones i know from off the top of my head and use most often.

espanol-extra also have cool games like wheel of fortune and who wants to be a millionaire.

i had this when i started teaching french under similar circumstances. i started off by listening to the recordings that goes with the book. it got me up with the essential vocab and will help with pronunciation.

are the kids setted and if so, which sets and yrs are you teaching?

i do spanish as my main language. if you cat me i would be happy to share my resources.

try www.languageresources.co.uk there is French & Spanish I think and also www.atantot.com I think its .com anyway is also good. You could also try vle.sunderlandschools.org/mfl which has lots of powerpts.

Good luck!

ok olivo. btw, i contributed some of the worksheets on the sunderland mfl site listed below. most of the wksheets i have made in the last few yrs was to either simplify or extend on Listos.

i know how hard middle groups of yr 9 are. i actually prefer bottom set yr 9 to middle set.
