Does anyone have any experience if this school that they would be prepared to share?

I know a number of people whose children go here. Haven't heard anything bad, haven't heard people exactly gush about it either. Many of them are on the waiting lists for the local state schools though.

A child recently joined my DD's Y3 class from the LCS and is on the same level as the average kid in the class so they're not teaching ahead of the local state options.

If you live locally, you may as well opt for state - they're some of the best primaries in the country.

I'm not entirely sure how religious the school actually is either: lets just say that I was given a copy of the prospectus by an old neighbour when we were looking for schools for DD... I was a little surprised given that I make Dawkins look like a moderate, am a card-carrying member of the BHA and NSS and this chap (who is a minister and had children at the school) assured me that staunch atheism would not be an issue!

Thanks very much elf
We aren't religious either !
It's our back up plan if we don't get a goodish state primary. I'm a bit fretty about schools just because the closest ones to us are either small and and good and over subscribed, good but very big or not so great.
I'm wondering about how good LCS actually is and whether it is worth the money or is merely a good ish school without any local competition
